According to The Paradox of Choice by Barry Schwartz's, “researchers set up two displays of jams at a food store for sampling. One display had six jams and the other had twenty-four: 30% of people bought from the smaller section, but only 3% bought from the larger selection did.(Schwartz, 2005)” Nibbler is an application used to search for restaurants based on filters applied by the user. Nibbler gives the ability to apply multiple filters to user's searches, including dietary restrictions or allergies to find restaurants that fit specific diets, plus eliminating the issue of analysis paralysis by limiting the number of locations returned. The reason for this is simple, if there are too many options, then an individual can overanalyze the situation. This way the decision is easier because there are less options. The application is simple to use, secure, and anyone with an android device can navigate the simple UI.
