Abstract

According to a September 2013 survey commissioned by Microsoft among 1,405 general consumers, over ninety percent of people say that dealing with a company that uses outdated technology would cause them to reconsider business relations due to concerns over security, privacy or user-friendly convenience. This is the problem for which we developed our Use Case. With modern network infrastructure, FireTech Productions Inc. has been operating more efficiently and securely as well as improved the quality of life of both their customers and employees. The solution that was implemented was a modern VoIP solution and an IP-Based NVR system. This maximized workplace security and provided a unified communications solution for employee/customer collaboration. With our solution, the business was able to focus solely on operating, not the headaches that came with outdated unsupported technology. Customer relations have greatly improved, and the business itself has better communications equipment and security.
