Abstract

Nimble's goal is to provide educators and students the tools to successfully teach and learn how to code online. Due to Covid-19, approximately 22.3 million students from more than 3,200 higher education institutions have been moved to online classes1. Nimble provides teachers with prebuilt courses to help the transition to online learning and students with a simple user interface where they can write, run, edit, and submit coding assignments. This is accomplished by allowing students to run code in an isolated environment, so they do not need to download additional software and provide students with the ability to submit their assignments in the browser. Teachers can easily view and grade assignments and leave tips and comments to help the students learn. The goal is to provide a streamlined learning experience for the user and instructor.
