Abstract

The aim of this research is to design and develop a technology intervention to foster compassionate interactions between new parents. This study was informed by the insights derived from a needs assessment study to identify the elements of compassionate interaction between partners transitioning into parenthood. During the design and development of the prototype as well as final version of the developed intervention - Tandem Journal, we will conduct a usability study to improve the user experience. This research consists of three phases - 1) Usability study of the designed prototype 2) Development of the intervention, and 3) Usability study of the developed intervention.
