Abstract

With each generation, anxiety levels have risen, contributing to several mental health issues. We addressed this with a journaling application which helped people address anxiety issues using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques. This is a proven method that involves helping people become aware of their negative thinking, view challenging situations more clearly, and respond to them in an effective way. We provided a journaling experience that mirrored physical journals which are commonly used for this type of therapy. This gave the users a convenient way to access it from anywhere and anytime while also giving them additional insights on their thinking patterns. Anxiety Knot has been a great answer for anyone who would like to try this type of journaling therapy for the first time to help them with their anxiety. It’s also ideal for people who are already familiar with similar techniques and just want a more convenient solution.
