Abstract

Considering the recent pandemic, many who have been forced into staying in quarantine-like conditions have begun to seek refuge in nature. Camping is gaining popularity. What follows popularity is increased demand, and more specifically, increased demand for campsite reservations. However, finding the reservations you want is becoming increasingly difficult to do. With campsites being swiped off the shelves moments after they become available. This is where Camp Scout comes in the save the day. No longer is the perspective campsite-goer forced to relentlessly check their desired campsite’s availability status. With simple input from the user, Camp Scout succeeds in letting users know the moment their reservation hits the market via email or SMS text. An effort to help users spend less time checking and spend more time living.
