Abstract

"Campus Events, created for the University of Cincinnati (UC), is an android application designed to make campus life more engaging by solving the problem of too many emails and missed event opportunities. Students at UC get flooded with over 120 emails a day, with most being spam or other unwanted mail. This often means students miss out on events, leading to lower attendance and less engagement. Our app offers a solution. It's a handy tool where student groups and on-campus organizations can easily share events. Users can view these events on a map, a list, or a calendar. They can also rate events, helping others decide what to attend. Campus Events is here to make campus life more exciting by making it easier to find and join events. It's a helpful tool for both those planning events and those looking for something fun to do."
