Abstract

CyberSimAware is a project and organized consulting group that develops tabletop awareness exercises and campaigns targeting small businesses/ non-Profit organizations identify potential cybersecurity risks, inform them about the current cybersecurity climate, and test their incident response plans against a real-life simulated scenario. These are based on industry standards such as NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) Frameworks. CyberSimAware came to fruition because of all the group member’s backgrounds and experiences in the cybersecurity field and the needs we have witnessed as students, employees, and users of the modern technology landscape.
