Abstract

The CampusLive app is an integrated approach, and a mobile solution aimed at enhancing students' everyday experiences on campus. By leveraging the power of Azure cloud services and mapping technology, CampusLive provides a dynamic, interactive map of the campus that is regularly updated to reflect real-time events, activities, and construction projects. Students can view ongoing events, ranging from academic lectures to social gatherings, and add details about upcoming events to keep their peers informed. The app’s user-friendly interface allows students to easily search for specific locations around campus, such as lecture halls, dining areas, or administrative offices. Once a location is selected, CampusLive offers navigation to guide the user along the fastest route from their current location (keeping in mind the surrounding construction projects), helping students navigate campus efficiently. This app not only helps students stay organized but also fosters a more connected and engaged campus community.
