TeamZLit aimed to address the difficulties that students often faced when trying to form healthy and effective study or project groups. Research showed that two of the main reasons students struggled in self-selected groups were scheduling conflicts and unresponsive team members. This, in turn, led to undesirable work, inferior performance, isolation, and unbalanced workloads. The lack of a platform for students to find reliable and committed partnerships was where TeamZLit came into play. With this website, TeamZLit offered a matchmaking system that connected students with similar schedules and goals, fostering collaborative partnerships. By bringing together students with shared goals, TeamZLit provided a platform for building reliable and sustainable teams, ensuring a more productive, equal-opportunity group experience.
