Abstract

In the world of hobbyists and collectors, CwMe was developed to provide a modern and collaborative platform to track and manage personal collections with like-minded individuals. There are existing solutions that enable personal collection management, collection of rare/one- of-a-kind items, platforms to promote buying and selling of collectables, and social media platforms to share personal collections. CwMe combines all the best features of these solutions while bringing a unique gamified way of collection management. Users can create templates that contain unlockable items of a certain set, series, or collection, to be used and shared across the platform. These items are unlocked when a user uploads an image of the item when they collect it. Posts can be uploaded to the platform to share how collection progress is going or to promote new templates. CwMe was created to be used on both Desktop and Mobile devices.
