Abstract

Uni-Learning is an innovative gamified learning platform designed to address student dissatisfaction with traditional education methods, particularly IT and cybersecurity education. By incorporating interactive lessons, and game mechanics such as scoring system and simple badge system. Uni-Learning enhances engagement and knowledge retention. Developed using Unreal Engine 5.5.3, the platform leverages microlearning and multimedia learning principles to break complex topics into digestible, interactive experiences. The project follows a structured development approach, including data-driven player testing, GitHub and Perforce for version control, and iterative improvements based on feedback. Security is prioritized through encryption, and cloud-based hosting. The game’s design includes dynamic question randomization, adaptive difficulty, and stylized environments to maintain engagement. Future enhancements will expand content and integrate advanced mechanics for personalized learning. Uni- Learning aims to transform IT education into an engaging, interactive, and accessible experience, fostering greater student interest and competency in cybersecurity and programming.
