Abstract

StudentSection is a ticket exchange platform designed exclusively for University of Cincinnati students to securely buy, sell, and trade tickets for UC athletic events. By implementing verification through UC email authentication and secure payment processing via Stripe, StudentSection creates a trusted, student-only marketplace that minimizes fraud and inflated prices. The platform provides an intuitive interface for listing and purchasing tickets while ensuring transactions are completed safely using escrow-based payments. With a focus on accessibility, affordability, and security, StudentSection enhances student engagement and strengthens school spirit by making UC athletic events more accessible. By fostering a reliable ticketing ecosystem, StudentSection stands as a model for university-based resale platforms, promoting both protection and community for an improved student experience
