This group is particularly vulnerable to scams, phishing, and misinformation due to unfamiliarity with digital practices and targeted exploitation by scammers. These vulnerabilities lead to potential financial losses, compromised personal information, and a lack of confidence when using technology. NetWise is a response to the growing need for tailored digital literacy solutions. It aims to empower older adults with the essential skills to use the internet safely and confidently, focusing on cybersecurity threats most relevant to them. Netwise is a web application that utilizes interactive learning modules, quizzes, and activities to help users build digital confidence, fostering greater independence and connection in today’s technology-driven world.
