Abstract

BearMart was developed to provide a reliable solution tailored to campus life. BearMart is a website designed and created to meet the needs of UC students by offering a solution that is convenient and secure for ordering and receiving convenience items within campus. BearMart addresses the challenges students have in balancing academics, work, and personal time, because of the limited access to shopping options during the night, and the safety concerns in the surrounding campus area. What sets BearMart apart from other delivery services and convenience stores is the employment of a dedicated team that ensures secure and timely fulfillment of orders, commitment to student safety and accessibility. The platform includes a portal for staff to manage orders efficiently, with the aim of fulfilling orders within 20 minutes. BearMart provides a safe service that enhances campus life by allowing students to order or pick up convenience items on campus 24/7.
