Abstract

The UC Assignment Manager is a mobile application designed to enhance time management and organizational skills for students at the University of Cincinnati. This project aims to address common academic challenges, such as missed deadlines and poor task prioritization, which often lead to reduced academic performance. The app provides features like assignment tracking, customizable due date notifications, and estimated completion times, empowering students to better manage their coursework. Users can sort and filter assignments by class, due date, or point value, ensuring a streamlined and personalized experience. The project leverages technologies such as Android Studio and Firebase for seamless user interaction and data management. By fostering improved time management habits, the UC Assignment Manager strives to reduce academic stress and promote higher success rates among students. This paper discusses the development process, challenges encountered, and solutions implemented, providing a comprehensive overview of the project's goals and achievements.
