Abstract

The MyHealth Portal is a web-based healthcare management system developed to support senior citizens and their caregivers through an accessible, centralized platform. Many older adults face challenges with digital health technologies due to limited digital literacy, age-related impairments, and fragmented systems. This project addresses those barriers by providing a simple, intuitive interface that enables patients to manage medical records, medications, and reminders while maintaining secure communication with caregivers. The system incorporates accessibility features such as adjustable font sizes, high-contrast themes, and streamlined navigation to improve usability for elderly users. Built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a structured SQL database, the portal integrates user authentication, patient record management, medication tracking, and secure messaging into a cohesive system. By centralizing care coordination and streamlining communication between patients and caregivers the MyHealth Portal fosters greater patient independence, improves caregiver efficiency, and supports more organized, reliable healthcare management for aging populations.
