Abstract

Many applications are on the market, but they often provide the same information and can be filled with useless data. WiseCents seeks to address concerns among college students regarding management of their finances. WiseCents aids users to make the wisest decisions without worrying about information they don't need. Moreover, it enables users to better visualize their finances, keep up on goals, and ingest only the information that matters. The application is a web app hosted on Microsoft Azure, using the React framework and JavaScript to deliver a seamless user experience, and integrates OpenAI APIs to generate AI financial recommendations. By combining secure cloud infrastructure, web technologies, and artificial intelligence, WiseCents aims to simplify personal finance management and empower users to make informed financial decisions. Upon signing up, a user can establish a list of preferences to apply to their AI assistant, which is available as an owl widget and profile.
