Abstract

Campus Connect was developed to provide a centralized and reliable communication platform tailored to university housing communities. The web-based application improves communication between students, Resident Assistants, and housing staff by integrating real time messaging, announcements, and maintenance requests management into a single system. The platform addresses common challenges in campus housing, including fragmented communication tools, delayed maintenance responses, and missed updated that can negatively impact student experience and safety. Campus Connect features role-based access, transparent issue tracking, and streamlined announcements to support efficient housing operations. The system is built using Angular for the user interface, with Firebase, MongoDB, and Node.js supporting backend services, and Learna coordinating development within a unified monorepo architecture. By improving communication efficiency and operational visibility, Campus Connect aims to strengthen student engagement and create a more responsive campus living environment
