Abstract

Many organizations rely on fragmented applications that handled isolated tasks such as scheduling, inventory, or delivery tracking, leading to redundant data entry and workflow delays. The Driving Management System was developed as a full-stack, role- based logistics and delivery management platform designed to reduce inefficiencies in communication, tracking, and coordination across logistics operations. This project unified drivers, managers, stockers, and customers into a single web-based system that provided real-time visibility, workflow automation, and role-specific dashboards. The system was implemented using Flask and Node.js with a PostgreSQL database, containerized with Docker, and deployed on Debian 12 virtual machines within a university-hosted cloud environment. Infrastructure automation was achieved through Terraform and Ansible, while Prometheus and Grafana supported monitoring and performance visibility. The project demonstrated how infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and observability can modernize traditional logistics workflows and support scalable system design.
