Orizon addresses challenges such as unclear university requirements, fragmented information, and a lack of structured guidance during the application process. As a result, Orizon was developed as a web-based platform designed to help international students successfully apply to and navigate higher education in the United States. Orizon organized university and study-abroad requirements into personalized, step-by-step roadmaps that guided students through key stages, including academic preparation, standardized testing, application timelines, and visa-related documentation. The platform also provided academic support tools and peer insight to help students make informed decisions and stay on track throughout the process. By emphasizing clarity, structure, and usability, Orizon reduced confusion, improved preparedness, and supported student success before and after admission. The tech stack used is React (frontend), Node + Express (back end), OAuth2 (security), Versel (infrastructure). The project demonstrated how a centralized digital solution could streamline the college application process and improve outcomes for international students.
