Many students struggle with dividing chores fairly and maintaining clear communication, often relying on disorganized tools such as group chats or spreadsheets. These inefficiencies can lead to misunderstandings, stress and negative roommate relationships that impact student well-being. RoomEase addresses these challenges by integrating automated chore scheduling and centralized communication into one accessible web-based system that requires no downloads. RoomEase is a browser-based platform utilizing angular and bootstrap to improve shared living experiences for college students by streamlining household management and reducing roommate conflict. The platform also incorporates a game-like rewards system that motivates users through points, progress tracking and friendly competition. Automated reminders and fair task rotation encourage accountability while minimizing disputes over responsibilities. By combining organization, communication, and engagement into a single user-friendly platform, RoomEase fosters fairness, reduces tension and promotes a more positive and harmonious living environment for college students.
