Abstract

Commuters face challenges such as accidents, construction, roadblocks, and limited parking availability. University of Cincinnati Traffic is our mobile application that focuses on helping UC students, faculty, and staff navigate traffic congestion around campus. Due to these issues, our app strives to provide real time traffic updates within the Cincinnati area from Google map API and incorporated user reported traffic conditions to provide accurate information while on the road to ensure a safe and efficient commute to the University of Cincinnati and anywhere in the Cincinnati area. Security measures such as two-factor authentication are included to ensure our users' personal information is protected. The application was developed using C#, .NET MAUI, SQLite, GitHub, Mailtrap, and Visual Studio Community to ensure reliability and performance. By combining these features such as real-time information, user convenience, and safety measures, UC Traffic will provide an incredible experience for everyone within the University of Cincinnati.
