Abstract

Phishing attacks are one of the most successful and costly cyber threats and likely will continue to be successfully, largely due to human error and ineffective, passive security training. We noticed that many people struggle to recognize modern phishing techniques delivered through email, SMS, and social engineering campaigns. Phishing, Gone addresses this gap with an interactive cybersecurity awareness platform designed to build practical, real-world detection skills. The system uses short simulations, gamified quizzes, and adaptive feedback to reinforce secure decision-making and improve long-term retention. Phishing Gone is built using Svelte 5 and SvelteKit for a responsive web interface, with Supabase powering authentication and data management, the platform delivers scalable, performance-driven training for organizations and individuals. By combining modern web technologies with behavior-focused education, Phishing, Gone transforms cybersecurity awareness from passive instruction into active defense.
