Abstract

Single fathers are the most under researched and underrepresented parenting group. They also have worse health and a higher mortality rate than any other parenting group. There are very few technological solutions available that targeted single fathers. This project attempts to develop a webapp that is able offer a solution to some of the most noted problems that single fathers face. This webapp provides the ability for single fathers to locate services that they require and read the reviews of those services that were posted by other single fathers. This helps them avoid services that have a record of discriminating against single fathers. They are also able to create events for themselves and their children which can bring other single fathers together. This will bring single fathers in a local area together so that they are able to help each other when few others will.
