Abstract

We have worked to generate Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) themed for the University of  Cincinnati. NFTs are individually unique digital assets that can be bought, sold, and traded. Our  project programmatically generated hundreds of UC Bearcat NFTs, available for fans and  alumni to purchase through our website. The website can connect to users’ cryptocurrency  wallets to purchase the NFT. Our team worked with Adobe Illustrator and JavaScript code to  create the unique NFTs using combinations of image attributes such as background colors,  clothing, and accessories. We are working with the University of Cincinnati to get approved to sell officially  licensed UC Bearcat NFTs. In the future, we could potentially sell NFTs as tickets to UC  sporting fans that they could use for admission to the event and keep as memorabilia.  Additionally, this project can assist digital artists with minting their artwork as an NFT and  profiting from it.
