Abstract

Like a wardrobe full of clothes, LinkTailor is a virtual space where you can place applications, files, and websites - treating them as garments that you can style, tag, and organize into outfits for any occasion. If a user has occasion to check communications, they may wish to open several applications and websites, say Gmail, Facebook, GroupMe, Instagram, Discord, and Slack. If they save these within LinkTailor, they can easily access them all in one place or even open them all with a single click. This improves celerity and organization for all kinds of tasks. LinkTailor was built for cross-platform desktop use with the Electron framework and uses Vue.js for modular, component-based development. The current product allows users to save links in grid-based displays, re-arrange with drag-and-drop, assign tags, and customize styles. We are continuing to implement new features as we prioritize and document work in GitHub.
